User flow

Before sketching, I created a user flow of the app’s journey that both patient and doctor will follow. On the left side, it highlights the features included for the doctor. And on the right, in purple, is the pregnant user’s section. Both parties will have a journey similar but they are completely different in terms of end goals.

Wireframe Sketches

I then moved on to sketching the screens highlighting the main screens that users will use.

Log in/sign up - Pregnant user and Doctor’s screen

Both users will share the same screens. They will first start off by logging in/signing up; they will add their personal details before adding their Flare ID (for doctors only) to authorise their account. The user will add their referral ID number given by their doctor, and if a user is not referred by a doctor, they can skip this part.

Home - Pregnant users screen

The Home screen consists of the AI tracker feature, the Prediction/Timeline feature and the social feature at the bottom of the navigation bar. The card elements also display the main features as quick access such as the ‘Update Condition’ element, which is the AI tracker. The latest symptoms predictions and featured social posts.

AI Tracker

The ‘Monitor Condition’ is the AI tracker feature. The user will follow a process of five screens (the last screen in the next image - first wireframe). It is a quick procedure followed by selecting which areas are infected by a flare-up, the user will then take/add a photo before adding their current triggers so the AI can come up with a result evaluation. The results will directly inform the affected areas by using colours to highlight the area and give the user a skin score percentage to let them know the impact of the flare-up.

AI Tracker - continued

The first wireframe showcases the treatment column listing the triggers they should tackle and how to treat the symptoms. There would also be products recommended for the user to discover.

Timeline/Prediction screen

The Timeline/Prediction feature showcases the current date and information about what triggers to expect in relation to their symptoms and their new updated report (AI tracker). This feature acts as a supporter daily, ensuring the user is following these points leading them to skin recovery.

Streak/Points screen

This feature is accessed from the Profile screen. Users can view current points and find their achievements and coupons (eczema/baby products) they have unlocked or are yet to unlock. To view their tasks to complete to gain coupons, they can access the ‘Streak/Points feature #2’ screen by tapping the ‘2,000 points’ text on the ‘Streak/Points feature #1’ screen.

Social screen

The Social feature includes the content of user stories and current posts. Users can leave comments on the ‘Comment’ bar, and even leave likes and add posts to their ‘Favourites’. Tapping the button at the top (person icon), will lead the user to the profile screen (Social Feature #2). The user and other users can see their posts and favourited posts, as well as short summaries about themselves displayed in card boxes, such as ‘First Trimester’, ‘Joined: July 2022’ etc.
