During week three, we discussed our ideas and the potential of becoming the main project. My three ideas included are:

1. An eczema app (created for all audiences) that tracks and monitors skin conditions using AI. The app also provides proposed treatments
2. General skincare app for diagnosing and monitoring skin conditions, as well as recommending products and creating a skincare routine for users
3. A gamified environmental app focused on helping the planet by recycling and maintaining a healthy lifestyle

The feedback I mainly received was from ideas 1 & 2, especially the eczema idea. Since the first two ideas are the strongest contenders, the ideas can be combined into one project.

During the discussion, it was expressed that the type of product that I am aiming towards is an eczema skin tracker/management tool; I was asked to do further research to discover what type of problems people are having with skin conditions before coming up with a solution - What is the need for this type of application. Although I've done a small amount of initial research, I still needed to discover how the app would work to implement treatments from a digital device.

Overall, to understand more about the idea, I am going to look at general research on how treatment and monitoring work in eczema. Then look at competitors as a starting point to get a sense of what features have been done and haven't - this will guide me on how I can make my different product from others.
