Safekeep is specifically designed for the homeless. It is a storage system provided by shelters where it allows users to provide security for their essential items. To do this, users would go through a series of basic and simple instructions and interface (’What to do:’, ‘Select essential items’, ‘Select Locker size’ and ‘Scan fingerprint’ displayed on a kiosk, before inputting their fingerprint into their assigned locker.

Problem Statement: “There aren’t enough facilities which provide security and resources for homeless people”

The problem with homelessness is often cause by a lack of beds, food and shelter. Unfortunately many people only want to help the homeless in their own way not knowing that there are so many others that are just as deserving of help. Our solution is aimed at bringing a new concept to the indigent population called safe zones. These zones will provide lockers for personal belongings, free meals and short term housing with the opportunity to get help from those who are trained to provide assistance in getting back on their feet.
