After some feedback on Flare’s brand identity, I was advised to change the wordmark's typeface from Alata to Domaine Display. The main reason behind this is because of the monogram and wordmark didn't reflect powerfully from one to another.
Replacing a Sans Serif with Serif typeface makes the brand’s visuals more elegant to look at. It also emphasises on the curved circle of the monogram where both designs flow better together and are visually effective.
Overall, I am pleased with this new refinement, it makes the overall piece look stronger. I am looking forward to use these materials for my physical and digital designs, such as my colophon report and poster for the upcoming degree show.
